New state of the art optical equipment and testing facilities

At David Clulow we are committed to looking after your eye health as well as your vision, which is why we are introducing new state of the art equipment into our practices.

The health of your eyes can start to deteriorate well before your vision suffers which is why regular visits to your optician are essential. With newly developed optical equipment your optician can now utilize digital imagery to provide accurate pictures of the eye. These images are then kept on record and compared every time you come for a check up to provide your optometrist with an easily accessible way of monitoring changes in your eye health.

This new equipment includes a Fundus Camera, Slit Lamp and Field Screening Machine to examine your retina, cornea and field of vision. These images can be used to detect problems such as retinal tears or detachments, monitor deterioration of vision due to the effects of conditions such as glaucoma, and even diagnose health problems such as diabetes.

This state of the art equipment is fitted in selected David Clulow stores.

Standard Costs and Time

Some stores have promotions or special rates but standard charges are below. A sight test using the latest equipment costs a little more and can vary by store location. Please check directly with each store.
