PREMIUM EYE TEST

An OCT eye scan is an advanced imaging technique that allows your optician to see beneath the surface of the eye. It provides a more detailed view of your eye health than a standard eye test alone.

The Premium Eye Test includes additional diagnostics, such as OCT 3D imaging, as well as UV and dry eye assessments, with more time to explain your eye health in detail. It is designed to give a more complete understanding of your eyes.

The advanced imaging used in the Premium Eye Test can help identify early changes in the eye that may be associated with conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration, often before symptoms are noticeable.

Appointments typically last around 30 minutes, allowing time for both detailed assessment and a personalised consultation.

If you are eligible for an NHS funded eye test, the Premium Eye Test is provided at no additional cost.

• The Premium Eye Test is available to both private and NHS customers in participating David Clulow opticians. NHS services are not available in David Clulow Cheltenham and Brighton stores.
• The standard price for a Premium Eye Test is £45. For customers eligible for an NHS funded eye test, the Premium Eye Test is provided at no additional cost.
• There is no upgrade fee for NHS customers receiving the Premium Eye Test as part of their entitlement.
• At selected locations, pricing may vary. The Premium Eye Test at Harrods is priced at £80.
• Customers visiting David Clulow at John Lewis may receive a complimentary Premium Eye Test when purchasing glasses, subject to current in store offers and eligibility.
• Style Service customers receive a Premium Eye Test at no additional cost while their plan is active.
• All clinical assessments and recommendations are provided by qualified opticians and are based on individual requirements.
• If further investigation or referral is required following your eye test, your optician will advise you accordingly.
